Coyhaique — The City We Want
WebInteractive digital platform for participatory urban planning and territorial data visualization.
Design, conceptualization, and development of a digital platform for «Coyhaique, the city we want», an initiative aimed at building a long-term participatory urban vision by articulating public, private, and community stakeholders. The main challenge was to transform large volumes of territorial data, urban diagnostics, and participatory outcomes into a clear, accessible, and actionable digital experience.
A robust information architecture was designed to structure urban indicators, strategic lines, and development proposals within an intuitive navigation system. The platform integrates data visualization, interactive maps, and dynamic editorial content, enabling users to explore complex information at different levels of depth depending on their needs.
The UX approach focused on progressive content understanding, allowing both high-level overview and detailed exploration. Technically, a flexible and scalable solution was implemented to support continuous updates and the integration of new data layers.
The result is a digital tool that not only communicates information but also enables participation, transparency, and informed decision-making, positioning itself as a key asset for urban planning.
